About this event
The 6th annual “Carry the Cross” Challenge is set! Started in 2021 by the Knights of Columbus at Transfiguration Council 10362, this event raises funds for the 66 seminarians studying for the priesthood in north Georgia. As the seminarians learn to become the future priests of our parishes, the Knights continue to show our support for them.
On Saturday morning for the “Carry the Cross” Challenge, CrossBearer teams from all across north Georgia will once again each carry a 40 lb. cross for a 6-mile hike along the Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield Loop in northwest Atlanta or the South River Trail in southeast Atlanta.
All of the Catholic teams (Knights, Scouts, and parish and high school teens) raise money online to donate to the seminarians to defray their everyday expenses. Please support any of the CrossBearers Teams who honor these wonderful young men discerning the priesthood!
Go to the Challenge website and donate to a team…..all money collected is donated directly to the seminarians. Thank you!
