Mountain View Regional Library, a key community hub since 1978, was renovated in 2008 to add a makerspace and tech lab for digital learning.
The library on Sandy Plains Road will be closed on Monday, Jan. 19 for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The Cobb County Courier invites residents to test their knowledge of county government departments with a weekend quiz that will be available on Saturdays and Sundays and features ten questions to promote learning about local operations.

The Georgia Department of Public Health released health inspection scores for Cobb County food outlets from Dec.
26 to Jan. 1. Ratings ranged from 60 at Mac’s Chophouse to 100 at Rodney’s Jamaican Soul Food & Grill and Wellstar Cobb Hospital Main Cafeteria.

Falcons fans reacted after owner Arthur Blank fired coach Raheem Morris & GM Terry Fontenot, with social media reflecting mixed feelings.
