- ➤ An officer from Cobb County saved a newborn after a roadside delivery on Feb.12 during a traffic stop & performed chest compressions to help the baby breathe. Both mother and child were transported to the hospital and are now doing well. Cobb County Courier
- ➤ Gilbert, a 2-year-old white/brown American pit bull terrier, is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services (1060 Al Bishop Drive in Marietta) as walk-ins are welcome though appointments are preferred. Cobb County Courier
