- ➤ Bookmiser, a local bookstore closed since a battery fire last fall, will reopen Saturday, Feb. 28 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Roswell Road with an author event at 4 p.m. WSB-TV
- ➤ Town Center Community installed Cobb’s first decorative crosswalk along Noonday Creek Trail at the intersection of George Busbee Parkway and Town Center Drive on Feb. 19 to boost pedestrian safety. The pilot project, fully funded by the group, will be monitored for future enhancements + community feedback is welcomed on the website. Cobb County Courier
- ➤ Cobb Collaborative hosted Resiliency Week from Feb. 2 through Feb. 7 in Cobb County to offer workshops, documentary screenings, and interactive sessions that build mental health and community strength, with support from Wellstar Health System (and Resilient Georgia) to provide accessible learning opportunities. - ➤ Kroger is expanding its Parkaire Landing store in East Cobb by increasing its size by more than 26,000 sqft with a new sushi kiosk, expanded deli and added fuel center. Demolition began in January 2026 and the project will finish in spring 2027 while the store remains open. WSB-TV
