- ➤ The Marietta Police Foundation, started months ago by local community leaders Jody Traylor and Duane Sherman, has built a seven-member board and raised $85,000 to support officers in crisis—its February fundraiser at Marietta Wine Market brought in $15,000 and a ribbon cutting was held on March 18. The foundation plans to hold further fundraisers including a golf tournament in October and will cover costs such as new equipment and training for officers. Cobb County Courier
- ➤ Some Cobb County services remain disrupted after an unscheduled maintenance operation over the weekend took several servers offline and caused delays with online services and email communications this week.
