  • Delta Air Lines announced Wednesday that customers with itineraries through March 30 can rebook flights through Hartsfield-Jackson with no change fees as TSA delays cause missed departures; travel must begin by April 6 (if remaining in the same cabin fare differences are waived).  Fox 5 Atlanta

  • The Georgia Food & Wine Festival kicks off at Jim R. Miller Park today and runs through Sunday, offering unlimited beer and wine tastings, chef demonstrations, and a dedicated Kids Zone for family fun.  Fox 5 Atlanta

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Life University inducted six students into its Lasting Purpose Chapter of the Mortar Board National Honor Society today, recognizing their strong academic achievements. The announcement reflects the university's commitment to academic excellence.  Marietta Daily Journal

  • Stormwater upgrades led to blocked parking and construction equipment on Marietta Square last week. City officials say the project aims to improve drainage & safety in the area.  Marietta Daily Journal
  • Cobb County is allocating nearly $5.8M in opioid settlement funds to 10 local organizations, nonprofits & government agencies to expand treatment, prevention, housing and Narcan access. Officials say the funds will help residents get vital health support.  Marietta Daily Journal

REAL ESTATE NEWS

  • Cobb County officials approved a unique Habitat for Humanity project to build 36 mixed-income houses off Hiram Lithia Springs Road, with one-third dedicated to affordable homes and construction set to begin in 2027.  Fox 5 Atlanta

SPORTS NEWS

  • The Atlanta Braves celebrate 60 years in the city as they open their home season today against the Kansas City Royals at Truist Park — pregame festivities begin at 4 p.m. on the Battery Atlanta, with first pitch at 7:15 p.m. by Chris Sale.  WSB-TV
  • Truist Park’s traffic plan remains largely unchanged from 2017 for today’s Braves home opener, so fans must buy parking in advance and enter the exact lot address into their GPS. Alternatives include a free shuttle from Cumberland Mall & a Marietta Park-and-Ride bus that drops riders near the stadium.  11Alive
