- ➤ Acworth police and the FBI arrested a 17-year-old student Monday morning after receiving a SnapChat photo with a school shooting threat aimed at North Cobb Christian School on Eagle Drive — the suspect faces a felony charge and remains in custody. WSB-TV

- ➤ Rep. Lucy McBath suspended her exploratory committee to run for governor — she said her husband was recently diagnosed with cancer and she will spend the next few months focusing on his recovery while continuing to serve in Congress. WSB-TV

- ➤ The Georgia Department of Public Health released health inspection scores for food service locations in Cobb County—from restaurants to school cafeterias and hotels—covered by inspections conducted from March 21 to March 27.
