- ➤ DoorDash is expanding its test pilot of a portable benefits savings program to Georgia so Dashers who earn at least $1,000 in the first quarter can open a new Stride Save account in April and receive a deposit of 4% of their pre-tip earnings — the pilot will run through July. - ➤ Flock Safety, a Georgia tech firm, opened its 97,000-square-foot drone facility in Smyrna on Wednesday—Gov. Brian Kemp and company leaders attended the ribbon cutting. The company will create 210 jobs over the next three years and invest $10 million to produce drone tools that aim to improve public safety. WSB-TV

- ➤ A Vinings woman was indicted on vehicular homicide and DUI charges—she is accused of causing a fatal wreck in March. Marietta Daily Journal
- ➤ A Regions Bank teller in Smyrna, Stephanie Rose Kilbert, was charged with theft after video evidence showed her withdrawing $8,000 from an elderly customer's account through multiple transactions between Oct. 3 and Nov. 4—she allegedly knew the victim's age during the withdrawals. WSB-TV

- ➤ Marietta Parks, Recreation, and Facilities will offer Play-Well TEKnologies LEGO camps this summer at Custer Park Sports and Fitness Center to teach children ages 5 to 12 STEM skills through hands-on LEGO building projects. Multiple camps run from June into July—beginning with Adventures in STEM on June 9 and ending with Radical Rides 2.0 on July 7—and cost between $175 and $215, with registration now open. - ➤ Professor Dana Hermanson from Kennesaw State was named one of two 2025 AAA Presidential Scholars and will speak about broadening the impact of accounting research at the association’s Annual Meeting in Chicago.
