BUSINESS NEWS

  • Six Flags White Water in Marietta plans to hire 800 team members for roles such as lifeguards and food service. A hiring event was held on April 4 at 250 Cobb Parkway N while candidates can still apply online ahead of the park's opening on May 9.  WSB-TV
  • Cobb County has issued 42 new business licenses covering food, healthcare, consulting, and home services. The licenses, effective from March 30 to April 02, include several Marietta-based businesses and are set to boost local growth.  Cobb County Courier

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Chattahoochee Tech in Marietta received a donation of two modern HVAC systems from YORK to upgrade its Air Conditioning Technology lab and offer students hands-on training in energy-efficient systems.
