- ➤ Local neighbors criticized county leaders for not giving notice before starting construction of a waste transfer station on Reynolds Road in Hiram (the facility processes household trash for a landfill), raising concerns over public health and traffic; officials maintain the station has a 14-acre buffer and short trash storage time.
