ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A fire damaged multiple units at Vinings View Condominiums at 77 Pines Court on April 23rd when flames forced residents to evacuate—firefighters controlled the blaze by about 4:50 a.m. with three units hit by fire and six suffering smoke and water damage while no one was injured. - ➤ A paramedic was charged with assault after allegedly pinching a patient’s nostrils at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital last month+ officials are investigating the incident. Marietta Daily Journal

- ➤ Taste of Marietta returns for its 30th annual festival on Sunday, April 27, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the historic Marietta Square where over 70 local restaurants serve dishes with food tastings costing $2 to $10. A Publix VIP Lounge is planned at Boxwood Social Hall on Whitlock Ave for guests 21 and older to enjoy live acoustic music, hors d'oeuvres and air conditioning. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

- ➤ A new report from the American Lung Association shows that air quality in metro Atlanta is worsening as ozone unhealthy days increased from 1.8 to 5.5 and particle pollution spikes from 0.3 to 1.7 days per year.
