- ➤ Today, The Avenue West Cobb announced three new tenants that will add a pilates studio, a juice bar, and a men's salon; BLENDED Smoothie & Juice Bar will open in May, BODYBAR Pilates in June, and Hammer & Nails in August. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Marietta police and SWAT surrounded an auto shop on Cobb Parkway Tuesday afternoon after a shooting was reported inside; officials confirmed no injuries and detained several people – many with limited English as specialized officers worked to assess the situation while the roadway was temporarily closed. - ➤ On April 18, police arrested Anthony Statham after he pulled a gun and waved it at a McDonald’s employee at the drive-through on Veterans Memorial Highway—officials said a manager provided his license plate which led to finding a gun in his car. WSB-TV
