- ➤ Lockheed Martin announced that OJ Sanchez Jr. will be the new president of its Aeronautics division effective June 1 — replacing retiring Greg Ulmer after over 30 years with the company, with Ulmer staying as a strategic adviser during the transition at the Marietta plant. Cobb County Courier

- ➤ A free prostate cancer screening program from Emory Winship and Cobb County Public Library tested 20 men at Switzer Library on May 6 and will offer PSA blood tests for men ages 40 to 75 at Gritters Library at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. WSB-TV
- ➤ The Georgia Department of Public Health released health inspection scores for Cobb County food services from May 1 to May 7 — scores ranged from 73 to 100 across sites including Marietta and nearby areas.
