- ➤ Stacker has compiled a ranking of Georgia cities with UFO sightings using data from the National UFO Reporting Center with Marietta recording 95 sightings—second only to Atlanta, which leads with 174 reports. The list covers reports dating back to 1995. WSB-TV
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Researchers at Kennesaw State University earned an NIH grant to build a smartphone system (using AI to screen for diabetic eye disease) that aims to spot diabetic retinopathy early. They will test the tool in Egypt and hope it brings affordable eye care to rural areas. Cobb County Courier
- ➤ The Georgia Department of Public Health released health inspection scores for Cobb County restaurants and food services inspected from May 2 to May 8. Scores ranged from 77 to 100 — many restaurants achieved perfect scores — with facilities like Coffee Pot and Green Coyote Cobb noted for their high marks. Cobb County Courier
