- ➤ A motorcyclist was seriously injured in Marietta on Tuesday morning when his Honda struck the back of a Volkswagen Jetta that had stopped in the left lane to let a school bus pick up children — police said the 23-year-old rider was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital while the driver and passenger suffered minor injuries. - ➤ A motorcyclist was seriously injured near Olive Springs Road on Windy Hill Road in Marietta when a 2024 Honda CMX300 hit a 2006 Volkswagen Jetta that had stopped for a school bus on Tuesday at 6:32 a.m.—the motorcyclist was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital while the Volkswagen occupants sustained minor injuries. - ➤ A 29-year-old Fayetteville resident, Joshua Faison, was arrested at Truist Park on May 6 when security officers detected his bag setting off the magnetometer and found a stolen SCCY CPX-2 9mm pistol—he now remains in custody without bond. Fox 5 Atlanta
