- ➤ The Kiwanis Club of Marietta Golden K presented the annual Silver Pen Award to fourth-graders from Acworth, Addison, Powers Ferry, and Rocky Mount Elementary Schools for their essay 'The Person I Admire Most.' Winners Keyden Kanau, Evoleht Haddock, Aaliyah Reeves, and Rachael Wilson received a Silver Pen in a velvet sleeve, a Kiwanis Club Pen, twenty-five golden one-dollar coins, and an engraved plaque—awards given during morning broadcasts at each school.
