- ➤ State officials announced that Georgia’s quota hunt registration opens June 1 online or at licensed agents, allowing youth under 16 to apply for hunts on state-managed Wildlife Management Areas, with deadlines set for gator hunts on July 15, dove hunts on Aug. 15, and deer hunts on Sept. 1.
