  • Wellstar Health System filed a Letter of Intent to build a 230-bed hospital in Acworth on Cobb Parkway to meet growing health needs and will submit a Certificate of Need application by June 23—officials also plan to form a community advisory council for local input.  Fox 5 Atlanta

  • Stacker compiled a list of Georgia's top Class of 2026 football recruits using data from 247Sports. The report shows 5-star players like Tyler Atkinson—who has offers from Georgia, Ohio State, and Clemson—and local talent from Marietta with many college options.  WSB-TV
