- ➤ A Cobb County man was hospitalized on May 20 after passing out from extreme heat when his Delta flight lost air conditioning on the tarmac near Savannah. - ➤ A man was shot on Moreland Ave on June 5th and police taped off the gas station while investigators looked into the incident—reporters also saw officials at the nearby McDonald’s. WSB-TV
- ➤ Homeland Security Investigations arrested 12 people on Wednesday at a Cobb County nail salon for allegedly working unlawfully—violating federal law intended to protect fair labor and public safety. 11Alive

- ➤ Cobb County’s historic Concord Covered Bridge reopened after a van struck a protective beam near Nickajack Creek on June 5—county officials said the driver ignored warning signs. The span, built in the mid-1800s and renovated in 2017, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Cobb County Courier
