Kris Delaney has been named the new part-time executive director of Marietta Arts Council, effective June 5.
The board (unanimously selected her) to lead public art, cultural programming and community engagement in the city.
On June 4, locals painted a giant soccer ball at Franklin Gateway Sports Complex to celebrate unity through sports + business.
Marietta Mayor Steve Tumlin said the installation reflecting the new CID logo and World Cup spirit is the first public art in the growing soccer corridor.
🏛️ Government
Cobb County issued 46 new business licenses this week to restaurants, childcare centers and healthcare providers, with effective dates from June 1 through today in the region.
