BUSINESS NEWS

  • Lockheed Martin approved synthetic fuel blends for the F-16 and C-130 at its Marietta plant—up to a 50% blend may be used—to boost fuel flexibility and lower carbon emissions.   • Today, the William Root House Museum & Garden in Marietta is hosting a free Juneteenth celebration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. that features guided museum tours, crafts, living history demonstrations and storytelling.   • Georgia Tech’s Ben Emerson explained that a hydrogen blend test at Plant McDonough signaled a cleaner energy future for Georgia Power—this test conducted on June 17th may lead to reduced emissions and more sustainable power.
