BUSINESS NEWS

  • Lockheed Martin announced that test results show the C-130J Super Hercules wing now lasts about 40 percent longer—reaching roughly 122,500 EFH instead of the earlier 90,000 EFH. The joint test with the U.S. Air Force and Royal Canadian Air Force confirms that the improved ESL center wing box will extend the aircraft's service life at the Marietta plant.  Cobb County Courier

  • Today, the Town Center Community Improvement District elected Britt Fleck as chairwoman and Michael Davis as vice chair to lead the board. Fleck, a general manager at Georgia Power with over 35 years of experience, and Davis, co-founder of D&G Development Group, are expected to guide future projects in the Town Center area.  Cobb County Courier
