- ➤ On Sunday, a Marietta liquor store manager, Shivamkumar Patel, called police over a suspected shoplifting incident at Ace Liquors on Franklin Gateway — but video later showed that he and his friend Anil Yaganti held a customer at gunpoint, searched his car and stole his gun, leading to charges of kidnapping, false imprisonment, armed robbery, aggravated assault and unauthorized vehicle entry.
