- ➤ Thieves broke into a restaurant in Marietta months after it opened—causing $100K in damage. WSB-TV
- ➤ A thief broke into a Marietta restaurant along Franklin Gateway that was set to open this fall and caused more than $100,000 damage last Friday—police have no leads while the owner offers a $5,000 reward for information. WSB-TV
- ➤ Marietta police say that a shoplifting call from a Franklin Gateway liquor store on Sunday night will become an armed robbery case after surveillance footage shows the store manager—and his Marietta friend—held a suspect at gunpoint, leading to charges of aggravated assault, armed robbery, kidnapping and auto theft while both are held in jail without bond.
