- ➤ State and local law enforcement in Georgia will start Operation Southern Slow Down on Monday to target speeders and aggressive drivers on major highways, and the campaign will run until July 20. Officials said last year's operation resulted in 12,544 citations + 446 DUI arrests as part of efforts to cut dangerous driving. Fox 5 Atlanta
