Rep Lucy McBath announced that CobbWorks Inc. received a $1.5M YouthBuild grant to expand workforce training for local youth in Cobb County through a partnership with Construction Ready & Cobb Adult Education.
County leaders say the funding will boost training for local youth entering in-demand careers.
Cobb DOT lists multiple active road closures for construction including Brookwood Dr and Hamilton Rd, closed in both directions until July 31, and Old Floyd Rd, fully closed for bridge widening until July 6, with Townpark Dr northbound closed for sewer work.
