  • UGA’s Becky Griffin invited Georgians to join the Pollinator Census to help conserve insect habitats. The census began on August 8+ and aims to strengthen efforts to protect pollinators locally.  11Alive

  • Jeremy Holland was sworn in as Marietta’s new postmaster yesterday at City Hall. He will oversee retail and delivery operations at three carrier and finance facilities, three finance offices and two carrier annexes — managing 417 employees who serve 167 city routes and 44 rural routes.  WSB-TV

  • Today, Jen Pawol will make her MLB umpire debut for the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park in Cobb County during a game against the Miami Marlins.
