EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Lions clubs from East Cobb, Smyrna Jonquil, Atlanta Latino and South Cobb screened nearly 600 students for vision problems at Nickajack Elementary on September 6 to catch issues early—staff arranged the event well. - ➤ The Atlanta Braves hosted their annual Patriot Day 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Truist Park on Saturday, where over 530 participants, including first responders, climbed over 2,000 steps and wore lanyards with victim photos—proceeds helped fund the Terry Farrell Firefighters Fund of Georgia.
