Cobb EMC board members voted Saturday in Marietta to keep the board unchanged and extend board term limits by an extra term.

Cobb County Elections Director Tate Fall announced she will not return when her leave expires toward the end of the year—she took office in December 2023 and served for less than two years.

Melanie Dallas, LPC and CEO of Highland Rivers Behavioral Health, said National Recovery Month reminds us that nearly one million Georgians are living in recovery from mental health and substance use challenges—each on a personal journey to better health.
