- ➤ Lockheed Martin announced on Friday that its board approved a 5% increase in the quarterly dividend to $3.45 per share and authorized an extra $2 billion for share repurchases, continuing 23 years of steady dividend boosts. - ➤ Families attended the 4th annual Black Child Book Fair, a free event sponsored by The National Hookup of Black Women, to celebrate books and representation. The fair gave families a chance to share stories and see diverse characters in literature. 11Alive
- ➤ North Cobb Regional Library will host its inaugural Young Adult Fest on October 25 with ten bestselling authors offering panel discussions and signings—giving teens and young adults unique access to their favorite writers—at the library on Old 41 Highway.
