- ➤ Georgia students can apply to more than 60 colleges and universities for free in November through a partnership led by the Georgia Student Finance Commission — which includes the University System of Georgia, the Technical College System of Georgia, and private schools; the fee waiver program will help cut application costs. - ➤ Teasdale Foods, Inc. is recalling taco dinner kits sold at Aldi, Giant and Martin’s because the packs mistakenly contain cocoa mix that includes milk, which may cause life-threatening reactions for those with allergies. - ➤ Dr. Ruchi Gupta explained that Halloween can be safe for kids with food allergies when families offer allergen-free candies and non-food treats & read labels carefully to avoid the top allergens.
