- ➤ Cherokee County will hold a funeral procession on Tuesday to honor Claude Levinge, a 103-year-old fighter pilot known as The Captain—his route will start at Woodstock Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. and end at Georgia National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Levinge served in WWII, Korea and Vietnam and even taught astronaut Neil Armstrong while neighbors and first responders line the route to pay their respects. 11Alive
