Harrison High School senior Graham Auldridge organized a pickleball tournament that raised $2,500 for local families through the Center for Family Resources’ Thanks for Giving program.
His fundraiser supported neighbors facing food insecurity in Cobb County.
The Atlanta Lions Club held its 105th Centennial Celebration on Saturday, Dec.
20 at the World of Puppetry Arts Museum, showcasing puppets from famous shows, live jazz, and local food while club leaders shared updates on global health efforts and future plans (including a 50/50 raffle drawing) to boost ties.
Cobb County schools supported Allatoona High School paraprofessional Margeaux Strasburger and her children after a fire destroyed their home by rallying with gifts and donations.

Cobb County issued licenses to 40 new businesses last week & many were small service, food, and personal care ventures operating in unincorporated areas near Marietta.
🏥 Health
Maître Saladier Inc. recalled 6,000 pounds of Lorraine Quiche produced on April 9 and 17 after the products were shipped to Georgia + other states without the required import reinspection.
FSIS urged consumers to discard the quiche if purchased.
