- ➤ After nine months of work, Paces Mill Park reopened on Saturday morning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony during Memorial Day weekend as part of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area’s Palisades Unit. The park’s $6.3 million renovation improved boardwalks, parking, and river access—phase two will add a visitors center and open-air pavilion next year—boosting local outdoor recreation. - ➤ AAA reported that gas prices in Georgia dropped two cents to an average of $2.86 per gallon over the past week while EV charging rates stayed unchanged at 36 cents per kilowatt hour; in Cobb County, prices were slightly higher at $2.886 per gallon.
